Dear Family and Friends,
On February 7, 2020 we will be hosting the second annual Ping Pong Tournament to raise money for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF). The mission of the MMRF is to find a cure for multiple myeloma, which is the second most common blood cancer and is currently incurable. In 2015, Drew’s uncle Brad died of multiple myeloma. Brad fought very hard to fight his disease but sadly lost his battle. Brad was an amazing uncle and father. We hope the funds we raise help the MMRF find a cure for this disease.

Funds raised through MMRF events have helped to:
• Triple patient survival
• Deliver ten new treatments in a decade
• Launch over 70 new clinical trials
• Create the largest genomic data set in any cancer today—leading the
effort to treat myeloma based on each patient’s genetic makeup
The mission of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) is to find a cure for multiple myeloma by relentlessly pursuing innovation that accelerates the development of next-generation treatments to extend the lives of patients. Founded in 1998 by Kathy Giusti, a multiple myeloma patient, and her twin sister Karen Andrews as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the MMRF is a world-recognized leader in cancer research. Together with its partners, the MMRF has created the only end-to-end solution in precision medicine and the single largest genomic dataset in all cancers. The MMRF continues to disrupt the industry today, as a pioneer and leader at the helm of new research efforts.
The MMRF is one of the most highly regarded cancer foundations in the world. Since its inception, the organization has raised almost $400 million and directs nearly 90% of it’s expenses to research and related programs. The MMRF has received Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating for sixteen years.
While the MMRF has made enormous progress, they still have much to do and cannot continue to do great research without your support. Please join me to fight multiple myeloma, as your donation will have a meaningful impact on the lives of thousands of patients and their families!
Double the impact of your donation with a matching gift from your employer!
Matching gifts are an easy way to further your contribution to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
Many companies offer a matching gifts program as a benefit to their employees. Some employers will even match donations from retirees, spouses, and part-time staff.
